WHAT IS ZIYARAT?
Ziyarat – an Islamic term that refers to visiting or travelling to a sacred place or landmark. It is an important part of the Umrah and Hajj pilgrimage, which millions of Muslims perform each year. Ziyarat offers pilgrims a sense of fulfilment and knowledge about the history and traditions of Islam.
Ziyarat is a highly recommended act, as one can learn more about Islam by visiting the holy sites and important landmarks that hold spiritual and religious significance. It can be performed at any time of the year, including during the Hajj and Umrah journey.
